Yesterday, we took 44 students to the SOSU Curriculum Contest in Durant, Oklahoma! Our students definitely showed out and made our school proud with their scores. We had a total of 15 students qualify for the state competition in May at yesterday’s contest, which is amazing! The following students placed in the top 5 of our division and qualified for the state competition: Cale Bible: 1st in Government & Politics Nina Blankenship: 5th in Physical Science Peyton Brannan: 5th in US History Shaylyn Citty: 2nd in English IV, 3rd in Personal Finance Mackenzie Dansby: 5th in Government & Politics Caitlynn Hammer: 2nd in General Safety Rachel Hurst: 1st in Oklahoma History, 4th in English I Samuel Hurst: 1st in Psychology, 3rd in General Business, 3rd in Geography Skyler Marshall: 2nd in Plane Geometry Ethan “Seth” Sanders: 2nd in Chemistry Jayden Thomas: 4th in Economics, 5th in Calculus Miley Trent: 2nd in Music Literature Addison Williams: 5th in Chemistry Aron Willis: 2nd in Art-Figure Drawing II Courtney Wood: 1st in Music Fundamentals In addition to our students’ individual placings, Broken Bow High School placed 3rd in Division 4 at the contest! This is all thanks to our bright students putting their best foot forward. I’m incredibly proud of each and every one of them, and I can’t wait to see how our state qualifiers do in May. -Mrs. Sisco

The Broken Bow Show Choirs will present their 4th annual "A Night at the Drive-In" on Thursday, April 4th at 6:30 pm. Join us for a night of live entertainment in the BBHS Student Parking Lot! The cost is $10/person or $30/car for 3 or more people. There will be featured performances from Bennett Starz, Showstoppers, and Showtime! If you prefer to sit outside instead of in your car, please bring a lawn chair and there will be a designated outdoor seating area. Concessions will be available as well! We hope to see everyone there!
