Amanda Clay
Kindergarten Teacher
"Hello! My name is Amanda Clay. I was born and raised in Broken Bow. A 2000 graduate of BBHS and a former employee of BBPS. I am a mom to 3 boys, Anthony, Bryan, and Coy. I am very excited to be returning to Dierks Elementary this year as a Kindergarten Teacher. I’ve previously taught in PreK for 6 years and First Grade for 3 years. I’ve spent the past 9 years helping alongside my husband with our local hvac business. I’m ready to be back in the classroom and I’ve missed my fellow colleagues, tremendously. I love being outdoors, hunting, camping, gardening, spending time with my chickens and my goat, and watching my big boys play football and baseball. It's going to be a great year!"

This summer seven (7) of our student leaders (Jaxie Glasson, Amelia Sanchez, Gabby Seavy, Payson Scott, Alfredo Morales, Melanie Garcia, and Raylee Gaston) served as delegates at the Oklahoma Association of Student Councils Basic Leadership Workshop.
They participated in training and hands-on experiences so they could return and enhance their local student council and school culture while preparing themselves for future leadership roles in their schools, careers, and communities.
