Outstanding performance in athletics takes talent, but it is also a product of years of practice. Despite being Freshmen, Tyson Woolsey and Greydon Howell have already put in countless hours honing their skills since they were old enough to hold a basketball. That work paid off last night as the young leaders paced their teams to two big wins against good Poteau teams and combined for a remarkable 62 points. Congratulations to the Broken Bow basketball teams and all the student-athletes who earn their accolades through sweat and dedication. It's a Great day to be a Savage! 📷Broken Bow Activity Shots and Ryan Woolsey #GoSavages

🍎Mr. O'Gorman, aka Mr. OG, has been teaching for 5 years. He loves to help students connect the dots which leads to "light bulb" moments. These little events bring him great joy everyday! He also loves the camaraderie between his students and the staff here at Bennett. Mr. OG's favorite teacher snack is Hershey's Cookies & Cream or Reese's Peanut Butter Cups! #Bennett

Broken Bow High School had 8 students selected to participate in the 2024 All State Honor Choirs. These students had the opportunity to stand beside the most talented singers in the state of Oklahoma and work with world renowned composers and clinicians for an experience that very few are lucky to have. The 2024 All State Choral Concert was amazing.
The 2024 Mixed Choir Members were Cale Bible, Mackenzie Dansby, Riley McBrayer, Madisyn Morphew, Alyson Sundberg, Jayden Thomas, and Miley Trent and the 2024 Treble Choir Member was Cedar Fields. We had three seniors recognized for being three year members- Cale Bible, Riley McBrayer and Mackenzie Dansby. Lots of hard work and sweet memories were made this week! ❤️

We had 2 students selected to participate in the OkMEA All-State Children Choir in Tulsa. Matthew Escobar and Ava Gammon began their festival on Wednesday afternoon with rehearsal. They got some free time each night to go eat some delicious steaks and cheesecake! To conclude their festival, they performed at their concert this morning! It was an extremely fun week and these kids walked away with an awesome learning experience and memories for a lifetime!
