This week was National Counselor's Week! School counselors fly under the radar. In today’s world, a school counselor is our student's safe place, the one that provides academic, career and college readiness along with social emotional support to ALL students! We would be lost without our counselors. Mrs. Shelia Kates, your Bennett Family love and appreciate you so very much! Your acts of kindness, extra miles days and skilled expertise does not go unnoticed. Thank you for all you do!

Yesterday, 4th grade students from Bennett Elementary were celebrated for having the least amount of combined absences for last semester.
It was a beautiful day for popcorn, animal crackers and lemonade!
“A huge thank you to the fourth grade teachers for squeezing our celebration into their busy schedule!
We also couldn’t have made it happen without our wonderful cafeteria staff, our school counselor, Shelia Kates and our security officer Frank Giffith.”
-Mrs. McGee
