MEET THE SAVAGES! Maliyah Carney(#34) plays Pitcher/3rd Base for the Broken Bow Lady Savage Fastpitch Softball team. The Junior pitcher's rocket arm pinwheeling towards them is the last thing opposing batters see before they strike out. Time now for our WILD WEDNESDAY FEATURE and today we’re wild about Mrs. Autrey! Mrs. Virgie Autrey has taught school for 28 years. What makes her WILD about being a reading specialist is when she can see on her students faces or in their eyes that they finally get it!!! Whatever "it" is at that moment. She expressed that It thrills her heart to watch their faces light up with understanding. Her most WILDLY favorite teacher treat is Dutch Chocolate Ice Cream.🍨Yummy!!!

The Student Council are now selling their annual Pink Out shirts. We wanted to reach out and explain this year's design. With the loss of our beloved Coach Minor the students wanted to change it up a bit. So this year it’s "SAVAGES FIGHT CANCER IN ALL COLORS" with his color being represented at the top of the ribbon. Here’s a picture of the design so that you could see it in color. The cost is $15 per shirt regardless of size. Also, to keep the cost down and the turn around time short there will be only one order which will take place on October 6th. Sorry there will be no late orders taken. 💗The Cheerleaders of Broken Bow High School will sponsor the annual BBHS Homecoming Parade on Thursday, September 28th at 7:00 p.m! All local organizations and groups are encouraged to participate with a float, decorated car, ATV, bicycle, etc. There will be no fee to enter. The line-up will begin at 6:30 p.m. For more information or to get your group/vehicle entered in the parade please email mwalls@bbisdapp.org. The homecoming theme is “Come on Broken Bow, Let’s Go Savages!” A community pep assembly will immediately follow the parade at the football field. Big ups to everyone that CHEERS us on!
