COMMON PROBLEMS WITH ONLINE ENROLLMENT PROCESS
I asked for an account and I haven't received anything yet. If you ask for an account outside of our regular working hours - your account will not be activated until our staff returns to the office. That means there will be no accounts activated at night (unless it is during enrollment times or on weekends). Additionally, there may be times when our staff is in Professional Development or other meetings and will be unable to activate accounts. Monday, August 7th - all of our staff will be in meetings and our offices will be unavailable for account requests or enrollment.
When I click on Guardian Portal it signs me out. All of the new student creation happens in the STUDENT RECORDS PORTAL. If you click on Student Records Portal, you can see any students that you have started, and Add New Students. ALL STUDENTS ARE NEW THIS YEAR.
My only option is "Add New Student" but my student was at Broken Bow last year. For this year, because the software is new, ALL students are considered NEW. Next year, you will be able to select "Returning Student" and have less forms to complete.
If you are an employee at BBISD - your logon procedure is different. You have an email concerning this in your school mail.
The Broken Bow Savage Football regular season kicks off Friday, August 25th at home against the 5A McAlester Buffaloes. The Savages will also face 5A Durant and archrival Idabel before heading into 4A-4 District play. Catch a preview of the Savages on August 17th at Memorial Stadium as they scrimmage Hugo. Season tickets will be available soon. Once A Savage, Always A Savage!

Congratulations to Savage All-State Linebacker Christian Brumley and Defensive Coach Duce Lee as they represented Broken Bow and the East All-State team in the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State football game. The East came up one point short, 15-14 after also trailing by only one at half, 8-7. Brumley competed against a wealth of talent, some of whom he may meet again on the field as he continues his career in college. Coach Lee will also be on the field very soon, as he, Head Savage Football Coach Rod Davis (also pictured) and the rest of the Broken Bow staff prepare for the upcoming season. Lee and Brumley represented Broken Bow for the third straight night at the All-State events, wrapping up an impressive week-long display of Savage talent.
The Lady Savages softball team scrimmaged the Idabel Lady Warriors and the heat today in Day 2 of the Savage Festival. Broken Bow came away with a 3-0 victory as they continue to prepare for the regular season. The Lady Savages travel to Poteau Tuesday and Wednesday for the Carl Albert Festival before the regular season home opener August 7th at 4:00pm versus Antlers. It's a Great Day to be a Savage!
Savages in Sapulpa! Broken Bow basketball was well-represented in the East-West All-State Basketball game Thursday night in Sapulpa. Coach Patrick Smith and 2nd-leading all-time scorer Kieler Young were featured on the East team (Young's blue "West" jersey was a misprint by the vendor). Young hit double figures, scoring 13 points for the East team. Young is the second-leading scorer all-time for Broken Bow with 2,026 points. Smith will return this season to help prep the Savages for the December season tip-off. The Smith-Young combo was the second of three consecutive appearances by Broken Bow at the All-State games. Thanks for showing Savage Pride statewide!

Broken Bow Head Girls Basketball Coach Toby Bean was all smiles Wednesday night after coaching the East to an 80-55 win in the Large School All-State Basketball Game. Coach Bean was the first of three different coaches representing Broken Bow at the 2023-24 Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State games.

The Broken Bow Savage Dance Team rocked it at the UDA Camp this past week. Per Dance Team Instructor Ashley Patel: "This final day was one for the books! I'm beyond proud and grateful for this group of young ladies. God has truly blessed me with an outstanding group of young ladies to coach! I am so EXCITED for our season!! These young ladies danced their hearts out! Pushed outside of their comfort zones and excelled! We have learned as a team what our strong suits are and what we need to work on! Ladies, be proud of your accomplishments!"

It's Scrimmage Time! The Lady Savages Fastpitch Softball team will get off to a hot start at the Broken Bow Festival July 27-28 beginning at 10:00am on the Broken Bow campus. They will then travel to Poteau for the Carl Albert Festival on August 1-2; the starting time to be determined. Get back into the swing of things and support the Lady Savages as they begin their quest to return to the State Tournament.

Broken Bow coach Duce Lee, the longest-serving member of the BBHS Football coaching staff, has been selected to coach defensive backs for the East in the Oklahoma Coaches Association East-West All-State Football Game on Friday, July 28th at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee. The East defense will also feature All-State Broken Bow linebacker Christian Brumley, who will definitely keep the hits coming as he prepares for his college football career. Lee and Brumley's appearance will mark the third consecutive day (and second consecutive coach-player combo) featuring Broken Bow at this year's OCA All-State schedule.
