The first BBHS "Game of Life" Senior Event was a great success!
This activity gives students a brief look into life beyond high school in the real-world.
The students began by picking a random Career Ledger based on their chosen "next step" after high school which gives them their career, salary, and family. Their task was to visit every booth where they would make choices in expenses like housing, health care, utilities, transportation, and insurance, to name a few.
By the end of the game, they learned how career choices can impact a person’s lifestyle and bank account.
Some of the students' comments regarding today's event:
"Learn how to save money"
"Dude, life's hard"
"Pay for needs before wants"
"Save money"
"Get a job"
"Save money and be responsible"
"Save up money and wait until I'm financially stable before having kids"
"Stay Single"
"Make better life choices"

Congratulations to Ashlei Hannah who was selected to perform at the State FFA Convention in May as a part of the talent competition! #SavageTalent
