🌟 SHINE On Staff Spotlight 🌟
Mr. Jeremy O’Gorman (“OG”) 5th Grade Math Teacher Mr. Jeremy O’Gorman—known to students and staff alike as “OG”—is someone who truly embodies what it means to SHINE at Bennett Elementary.
Now in his 7th year in education and beginning his 5th year at Bennett, OG brings consistency, heart, and a deep love for learning into his classroom every single day.
He is passionate about helping students reach that “light bulb” moment—the instant when understanding clicks and confidence begins to grow. OG believes that “there is no knowledge that is not power,” and he lives that out through his dedication to teaching, encouraging students to think critically, ask questions, and never give up when things feel challenging. His classroom is a place where learning is meaningful, perseverance is celebrated, and success is built one step at a time. Outside the classroom,
OG is known for his corny dad jokes, love for anything Reese’s, a Vanilla Dr. Pepper in hand, and a good steak from Texas Roadhouse (or any steakhouse, really!).
Fun fact—he has a brother exactly six years older than him, and his wife has a sister six years younger to the day.
We are incredibly thankful for Mr. O’Gorman’s commitment to our students and the positive impact he makes at Bennett Elementary. Thank you, OG, for helping our Savages learn, grow, and SHINE! ✨

💛🖤Our very own BBHS Dance Team had the amazing opportunity to perform in the Varsity All-American Pearl Harbor Day Parade.
🌺 Seniors Violet McCarrell, Olivia Fuson, and Kaeslynn Lansdell represented BBHS Dance Team as an All American Dancers for Varsity Spirit, in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Honolulu, HI.
Dancers and cheerleaders who are invited to perform in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade are part of a select group of All-Americans identified at Varsity Spirit summer camps. All-Americans are based on superior dance or cheerleading skills, as well as leadership skills at camps. 🥇
These ladies were blessed to be able to perform with Varsity Spirit All-Americans in the parade before thousands of fans lining the streets of Waikiki Beach. This trip marks the 84th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. 🇺🇸
They had so much fun in Hawaii exploring the island culture, learning the history of Pearl Harbor, making new friends, and of course performing in the parade.
Congratulations, Liv, Kaeslynn and Violet, on this amazing opportunity! BBHS Dance Team Varsity All-American Trip!
